Irish Pub Ride
The Irish Pub Ride is a slight misnomer - it was really a British Pub. We had planned to go to the Irish-style Wolfe Tone's Pub, but opted to go a few miles (and dollars) less to the Hunter's Head Tavern, a British-style Pub. We started in Middleburg, Virginia, and rode not too many miles due west to Upperville, Virginia, pausing a few moments for traffic around the Upperville Colt and Horse Show, where the steeds are not made of iron. After a hearty lunch - the Guinness Beef Stew combines the best of both worlds - the riders rode around before heading back to Middleburg and warmth.
Danny Burns, Bill Lackman, Don Hollis, Tom Hardy, Juan Sakata, Bob Nicholas, and Dave Hennessey braved the mildly cold November weather.
