Guys,

I too, want to thank George and Nancy for another wonderful party. Great food and friends. What a fantastic way to wrap up a very successful Blast from the Past event.

Dave's new 4Ps brew was a big hit. It was Thumbs Up All Around. Thanks Dave, for providing the libations.

Congratulations to Rollo for a well deserved Best in Show finish.

General George got took both Second and Third Place Finishes. There is something to be said about "Two-In-The-Hand...etc". Congratulations George.

I met a bunch of new folks, including three of the General's veteran buddies, at the show and the pool party. It certainly was this summer's hottest ticket. If you weren't there, you missed a great time.

Thanks to everybody that participated. In particular, we extend our thanks to Rollo for organizing another great Blast from the Past event.

Regards,

Bob

All,

I think everyone would agree that the BFP last weekend and the after party at George and Nancy's was huge success. I think best so far!! A big thanks to George and Nancy for the spread and hospitality and Dave for the brews. The man above for the weather (rain went elsewhere), the Hawks and Mark for the tunes and The staff of Patriot for making it easy!

I think the recruitment and re-upping of members was successful as well. We got some members who hadn't be active to renew their chapter membership and we signed up some folks we have been working on for a while and we got some new recruits as well. All in all I think it went well and looking forward to some of the new folks joining us as we grow.

Dave took plenty of pics so looking forward to seeing those posted as he gets them on line. We had a LOT of bikes there this year. Best ever showing of bikes and even had some guy come all the way from Salem , VA to display his 34 RL.

A big thank you to all those that helped out and provided tents, chairs, bikes, stories and set up and loading/unloading and chatted up prospective new members and thanks to all those that gave me their pity votes for the first place award. I personally think Billy Potter's 1903 Thomas should have won as it is really rare and too cool for school but thanks any way!!

See a lot of you at Rob's show at the Vienna Moose at the end of the month!!!
