Remember Gunk Hydro-Seal carburator cleaner? The stuff that stinks to high heaven and takes the paint off cars parked across the street?

Berryman Chem-Dip (the kind not sold in California) still does that. I went out on a limb and bought a 5-gallon pail with the stainless steel basket. Five gallons will probably last me five lifetimes.

It cleaned up my gunky old Linkert M53-A1 pronto. It will clean up your Linkert or Schebler too - just bring your carb over, don some gloves, hold your nose, and DIP.

It might also clean up your Bendix or Tillotson. Or they might dissolve in this stuff. Holley 780? Rochester QuadraJet? It'll clean them good.

C'mon over and dip your carburator before this stuff rots the bottom out of the steel pail.
