Hey guys and girls,

A couple of months ago, Hodge gave me a big box of Chapter stuff that he has been storing for some time. Maybe it's time for this stuff to find new homes. Here's my proposal:

TWO ROLLS OF CONSECUTIVELY-NUMBERED TICKETS/STUBS

I propose that we issue one of these to each member who attends the next club meeting. There will be a drawing for a free Chapter T-Shirt. The rest of the tickets will be donated to the Fauquier Community Theatre for use in their 50/50 drawings.

TWENTY HIGHLANDS CHAPTER T-SHIRTS, MORE OR LESS

I propose that each member attending the next meeting be privileged with the opportunity to purchase one of the fabulous, collectible, and stunning 2008 Chapter T-shirts for the Sustaining Sponsor price of only Five Dollars.

CHAPTER BUSINESS CARDS

The Chapter seeks the volunteer services of a Printer, and a Printer's Devil. Qualifications for the Printer include the ability to read backwards. Qualifications for the Printer's Devil is to be able to dodge quoins thrown at him/her by the Printer. The Chapter will not provide quoins.

The Chapter has 250 business cards which say "AMCA - Highlands of Virginia Chapter". This is nice, but there is no contact information provided.

We seek a Printer and Printer's Devil who will rubber-stamp the backs of the existing business card with the Chapter's Website Address, and contact information for one or more of the members of the Chapter's Membership Committee.

The Chapter will provide a "Printing Set, Rubber Type", and a "Pad, Printing Ink" to the Printer. The Printer, with the help of his Devil, will composit the type, and be responsible for the ultimate goal of "putting ink on paper".

These items will be briefly discussed at the next meeting.

Respectfully submitted,
Dave
