I went over to Hodge's house tonight, and we had a good chat - over a Blue Moon and a Magic Hat - or two.

Wuss had a busy day with rogue jet airplanes being where they weren't supposed to be, but did get back to me late in the afternoon with a complaint from the public from last year - the way the bikes were lined up, the public couldn't get good photographs.

It's impossible to take good photos of bikes in the typical lineup, so we should be available to push bikes out into an open area for photo ops.

We should put up a 10x10 pop-up tent in the front row of our display to advertise the club, and have one or two club members on staff to answer questions, reposition bikes for photo ops, and pass out club membership info.

Yes - our tent in the front row! Patriot H-D isn't doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, they're doing it because it draws money into their cash registers.

Let's use our display to draw new members into our Club.

We need to be out there in the public view - to explain our bikes, answer questions about our bikes, and start our machines once in awhile. This is a museum that runs. Let's make it run!

Maybe our first row of bikes should be 90 degrees to the assigned parking spaces. That way we can showcase our premiere bikes, and draw attention to the Club tent.

Front and center - let's take every advantage of this opportunity.

See ya in the morning...
