Subject:Giving thanks this year! Date:Wed Nov 25 08:41:57 2020
Man o man what a year this has been! Lots of folks want it to be over quickly and count me in that category as well but there are things to thankful for. Some have spent time getting to know their bikes more intimately by working on them and others have started new projects. With all the time on everyone hands there is plenty of time for that. But there is plenty besides that to be thankful for. We are not at war with anybody and there is relative peace through out. The virus issue reared it's ugly head and has put a burden on everyone but at last we seem to have a viable vaccine and theraputics to take care of that soon. Some would say not soon enough but it has been done on record time and with excellent prospects to be effective. We had an election and no one got killed in the process. Not particularly thrilled with the results but there are bright spots none the less and we will survive. The economy is on a roll and despite a lot of folks out of work I think all of our folks are working and some even reaching retirement. More time for bikes. We all have family and friends who care about us and even though it may be tough showing it sometimes we know that they do! I have my last chemo treatment next week and hope the have my ostomy reversed in early 2021 and go back the functioning like a normal person. There are many many more things to be thankful for but just trying to send out some positivity to counter act the negative stuff!
Lets hope this virus issue gets fixed and we can move on in 2021 with swap meets road runs and rides and congregating with each other once again! The best to all of you and you family and friends and be thankful you are alive and well and look forward to a much much better 2021!
