A member of the Virginia British Motorcycle Club and the AMCA James River Chapter, Richard Hanes - 1974 Triumph Trident T150V - Museum Condition! - $9450 (Manakin Sabot, VA)

Incredible almost "Museum Condition" 1974 Triumph TRIDENT T150V - Like NEW! Matching numbers, runs like new, almost always starts on 1 kick, always garaged, hard to believe the condition. No way to describe the condition of this collector bike - you have to see it. Original owner had top end re-built by vintage Triumph expert about 2007/2,000 miles ago only because he saw some top-end oil leaks. I ride this bike! Screams like a banshee! This was the fastest bike made in 1969 and the ultimate super-bike then - and runs like new. Bike is NOT RESTORED, BUT ESSENTIALLY ALL ORIGINAL! A show-winner for vintage bike shows!

Original paint on tank is stunning, almost flawless.....only thing you see in pics is reflections of clouds.

Many original records, including Original sales receipt...I have phone number of original owner (& title copy to prove he is original owner), so you can call him & verify everything about this bike. Original owner sold bike in 2007 because of serious injury to right knee, so he could no longer start the bike. 2nd owner only rode bike a few times, could not adjust to right shift/left brake, sold it shortly after buying it. I am 3rd legal owner. I got it from a collector in SC who was going to put it in a museum. Before purchasing, I had area Triumph dealer who is vintage Triumph expert run compression tests, hot engine oil-pressure tests (indicates condition of main bearings), etc. and everything was within new specs.

Boyer EI, tires great but are old, need replacing only because of age. Everything works except for one of 2 horns. Will have fresh oil and filters for new owner. Tiny chip in tank, small crack in front fender (O.O. made me promise to not repair it), small dent in left muffler.

A collector or museum bike that you can ride every day! Your choice!

Only reasonable offers considered. This bike is worth more. NADA is $7,850 but this is a "matching numbers" "ORIGINAL" bike in far beyond excellent condition WITH RECORDS. In fact, I have the complete written history as told me by the Original Owner. I'm only selling because I have a collection of old Triumph's, ride this one the least and I want to buy a new Triumph.
